BestCoat EP606 is an epoxy coating, non solvent, two components, protective
coating for industrial flooring surface or some surfaces required load bearing,
abrasion resistance, chemical resistance.
BestCoat EP606 is applied to protect for the surfaces with special request:
- Industrial flooring surface or chemical warehouse, pharmaceutical factory, food or electric factory, garage that need heavy loading capacity.
- Equipment or tank requires chemical resistance, anti-erosion or needs to meet HACCP standard.
- BestCoat EP606 can be directly applied on surface of metal, concrete,
cement layer, fiber cement panel, epoxy mortar, wood…
- High strength, well bonding, crack resistance, peeling resistance.
- Resistance to abrasion, chemical and sustainability in corrosive environments.
- High gloss, easy to clean and wash, prevent the development of microorganisms, mold.
- High coverage ability, easy to apply, saving material and labor.

Coating
system:
- To strongly absorb, the easily breakable, or hardened surface must be applied a primer layer by BestPrimer EP601, BestPrimer EP602, or BestPrimer EP603.
- To smooth the surface, solid and medium roughness does NOT apply the primer layer but should apply at least 2 layers of BestCoat EP606 after cleaning the surface.
Substrate
requirement:
- To concrete surface: Compressive strength: ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength: ≥ 1.5 MPa. The surface should be flat, solid, and dry (maximum moisture is 4%), and impurities, broken pieces, and dust should be removed.
- To metal surface: should be removed rust, oil or impurities…
Mixing:
- Before application, two components A and B should be properly mixed under the right ratio by slowly stirring (at speed of 300 ÷ 400 rpm).
- The minimum mixing duration should not be less than 03 minutes and can be
longer until reaching the required homogeneity. Take the mixtures for about 05
minutes then stir again before application.
Application:

Use a brush or short roller or pressure sprayer to apply.
- Notes:
If applying the second layer and timeout of the previous layer over time then the
maximum timeout should be roughened surface by mechanical methods.
Do not use mixtures over time to apply and get hardening.
Cleaning:

Use BestThinner SC-01 to clean equipment immediately after the execution and
before the mixture’s hardening.
Safety:
- Both components are non toxic, non flammable. However, part B is alkaline, can be allergic to skin, therefore should be prevented from direct contact to skin.
- Should wear comforter, gloves, protective glasses while handling the product.
- In case of accidental eye contact, wash with fresh water and seek medical advice
immediately.
