  • BestCoat EP708 is a solvent-free, two-component, self-leveling epoxy coating.
  • The composition is made of 100% epoxy, silicate minerals, selective hardening aggregates and other specialized additives.

BestCoat EP708 is used to cover concrete or metal floors with high-end requirements such as:

  • Sterile rooms, operating rooms, laboratories.  
  • Pharmaceutical or veterinary medicine factory. 
  • Food, brewery, aquatic or agricultural factory. 
  • Electronic, computer, optics and accurate assembly plants.
  • Chemical, insecticide factories. 
  • Kitchen rooms, Kindergardent.  
  • Low viscosity, self-leveling and high gloss.

GUIDE TO APPLICATION

Coating system:

  • 01 primer layer of BestPrimer EP701, BestPrimer EP702 or BestPrimer EP703. 
  • 01 self-levelling layer of BestCoat EP708 with the thickness as design required 

Substrate prepare:

To concrete surface: Compressive strength: ≥  20 MPa, tensile strength:  ≥ 1.5 MPa. Surface should be flat, solid, dry. The cracks, defective location must be treated, repaired, patched as required. Impurities, broken pieces, dirt, grease must be cleaned completely

Mixing:  

Use an electric mixer or special blender at low speed (300÷400 rpm) to mix material about 5 minutes or longer until material is homogeneous. If need to split quantity of material, should stir part A before weight.

Application:

Pour the mixed mixture onto the corresponding surface area to each parallel rows with width 200 ÷ 300 mm, using a jagged scraper to spread out materials according to the thicknes required. Using a notched roller to support the leveling and get rid of air bubbles 

Note:

While the mixture is not hardening, the application space should be no dust, avoid insects. 

Cleaning:

Clean tools, equipments with dry cloth and BestThinner SC01.

Product is non toxic, non flammable. Can be allergic to skin. It is advised to wear comforter, gloves, protective glasses. In case of accidental eye contact, wash with fresh water and seek medical advice immediately

Storage condition:

In cool, dry place (5oC ÷ 35 oC)

Shelf life:

12 months from manufacturing date in sealed package and stored in cool and dry place.
