  • BestSeal CE201 is a chloride-free, ready-to-use mortar.
  • When mixed with water, it becomes a powerful, fast-setting temporary water plug. 
  • To stop pressure leaks and seepage through rock and concrete as well as through joints between concrete and steel (bolt surroundings, ducts, sheet piles etc.) in subways, culverts, tunnels, dams, basements, and pools.
  • Suitable with Vietnam’s climate.

Initial set time
45-90 seconds depending on temperature and water content.
Bulk density:
1.25 ± 0.02 kg/l

Storage condition:
Placing in a dry and cool place. Atmosphere from 10-30oC
Consumption:
Around 0.15- 0.20 kg/m2 depending on the surface status. It is recommended to prototyping for each case.

12 months upon manufacturing date

  

Application:

  • Cut concrete or rock in a “U” shape around the leaking point. Remove all chipping, unsound and loose particles and the clean surface with water before application of BestSeal CE201.
  • Should add the product into water, mix it by hand with a suitable quantity, keep doing until reaching the homologous mixture then apply immediately.
  • If the water pressure is very high, it is recommended to use a wooden plug first which is covered and secured BestSeal CE201.
  • It is recommended to prepare products in small quantities at a time. If mixed in a large amount, hardening may occur before it is completely used.

Handling Precautions

  • Cleaning tools, and equipment with clean water immediately after work is finished.
  • BestSeal CE201 is a non-hazard agent. However, it is an alkane that could affect with skin when expose and prolonged.
  • PPEs should be worn when working on products.
  • In case of contact with the eye, nose, and mouth must clean with clean water and go to the nearest medical center to prompt treatment.

Note:

  • Do not mix BestSeal CE201 with any additives, sand, or other types of cement.
